Object Writing: Negotiation

A pendulum swinging back and forth,

Goes further than we do,

A compass arguing what is north,

Is likely to do too

We flit like bees without a queen,

With a slightly better fate,

Our debate spills out over tea,

Meals are eaten late,

Reading the box carefully,

Following each line,

Instructions say use sparingly,

I haven't got the time

The impending tock of ticking arms

Festers on my temple

A drop of sweat, it's wily charm,

The recipe looked simple

A counter top extinguished,

Under peels of veggie skin,

At the start I looked distinguished,

More rhyming practice! It really took off today. Definitely easier to rhyme when I'm not trying to use a multi-syllabic word. Handy knowledge.
